2023 Belgium 2.5 Euro coin 'Cycling Experience' - Dutch Coincard. Belgium has issued a 2.5 Euro coin with the theme Cycling Experience. Cycling is on the rise in Belgium, currently about 51% of Belgian residents over 16 years old have a bicycle. This puts Belgium in 6th place in the world! Where the car cannot, or is not allowed to go, it is often accessible for bicycles. This allows enjoyment of the most beautiful pieces of nature, tranquillity and feel the wind while making the necessary kilometres. In addition, cycling is very healthy and brings the necessary relaxation. On the face of this coin a cyclist (with helmet) is shown cycling past old buildings. On the reverse of the coin is a map of Europe, the value of 2.5 Euro and the year of issue, 2023. The coin is mounted in a beautiful Coincard where the Dutch version can be recognized by the text that is displayed on the front in both Dutch and English.
