Belgium 2 Euro 2020 Plant Health Coincard Dutch

The United Nations has declared 2020 the International Year of Plant Health. The United Nations has asked countries to pay attention to their flora at the national level. The national flora serve to protect them against plant diseases and pests. Any plant diseases and pests must be controlled so that no damage occurs for this generation, but also for future generations. Plant diseases cause an average loss of 40%, healthy plants are needed to provide everyone with food. On the obverse of the coin is an image of the logo of the 'International Year of Plant Health'. At the bottom of the coin is the year 2020 with the country of issue 'BE' (Belgium). At the top of the coin, written in a semi-circle is the text 'INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF PLANT HEALTH'. The coin, is mounted in an attractive green Coincard with the text on the front printed in Dutch and English. On the back of the coincard the text is written in French and German. On the front of the coincard is the logo of the 'International Year of Plant Health' and a beautifully detailed leaf, whilst on the back an even more detailed image of a leaf is depicted.
