Belgium 20 Euro 2017 Toots Thielemans

Toots Thielemans (1922 - 2016) was a jazz musician and a harmonica player. In addition, in earlier years, he also played guitar. He is widely regarded as one of the best jazz musicians in the world. As a reminder of Toots Thielemans Belgium has issued a special 20 Euro coin. On the face of the coin an image of Toots Thielemans with his favourite instrument, the mouth organ, in his hand. On the left side of the coin is an image of Toots Thielemans and his birth year (1922) and year of death (2016). On the breverse of the coin the map of Europe with the EU countries is depicted. Furthermore, on the top of the coin, the value of 20 Euro is shown in large numbers and the year 2017 in small numbers. On the right side of the coin is the country name of Belgium in three languages. On the left side of the coin, the 12 stars of Europe are printed on a vertical musical stave. The mint signs are also printed.
