Belgium 20 Euro 2022 'Red Star Line'. Belgium has issued a 20 Euro coin with the theme 'Red Star Line'. The Red Star Line was a Belgian shipping company that sailed between Antwerp and New York. The company's first steamship crossed the Atlantic in 1873. The shipping company had no less than 23 ships and millions of people were able to experience the long crossing, which took two weeks. The company was founded 150 years ago, which is why the Belgian mint has decided to issue a special 20 Euro coin to commemorate this. On the face of the coin the steamship in question is depicted defying the Atlantic Ocean. Furthermore, on the left the Antwerp Skyline is depicted and on the right is the skyline of New York. Additionally, the text '150 Years Red Star Line' is shown. On the reverse of the coin King Philippe is portrayed looking to the right. The year 2022 and the value indication of 20 Euro are also shown. The country name of Belgium is displayed in its three native languages i.e. BELGIUM - BELGIQUE - BELGIEN (Dutch, French and German). The coin is presented in a beautiful case and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity. The coin has an edition of only 2,500 copies.
