Belgium 5 Euro 2021 Blake and Mortimer Coincard Colour. Belgium has issued a 5 Euro coin with the theme 'Blake and Mortimer'. Blake and Mortimer is a comic strip created by the Belgian author Edgar P. Jacobs. In 1946 this comic strip appeared for the first time in the comic magazine 'Tintin'. The comic strip is about the friends Captain Blake, an MI5 spy, and Professor Mortimer. Blake and Mortimer go through all kinds of things and know how to keep the peace every time. The face of the coin features an image of Blake and Mortimer - Captain Blake in his nostalgic cap and Professor Mortimer with his characteristic pipe. Their names are displayed at the top of the coin. The reverse of the coin shows the map of Europe and the text Belgien, Belgique en België (i.e. the country name of Belgium in its three national languages).
