2023 Belgium 5 Euro coin 'Spirou and Fantasio' - Coloured Coincard. Belgium has issued a 5 Euro coin with the theme 'Spirou and Fantasio'. This Belgian comic series is about the reporters Spirou and (Piet) Fantasio, who have experienced many adventures together. They try to solve as many crime cases as possible and in the comics most of the criminals are unravelled in a special way. To commemorate the fact that the first strip was issued 85 years ago the Belgian Mint has decided to issue a special 5 Euro coin. On the face of the coin Spirou and Fantasio are depicted with their squirrel Spip. Their names, Robbedoes en Kwabbernoot, are also displayed. The coin is beautifully coloured, just as the characters are seen in the comics! On the reverse of the coin is a map of Europe. The value of 5 Euro and the year of issue, 2023, are also shown. The coin is mounted in a beautiful Coincard.
