Cyprus 1 + 2 + 5 Cent 2021. These are the 1, 2 & 5 cent coins of Cyprus 2021. On these coins is an image of the Cypriot Mouflon. A Cypriot Mouflon is in fact a wild sheep. The Cypriots call the animal an Agrinó. The Cypriot Mouflon has been around for 8,000 years in Cyprus. It is an endangered species which today can only be found in the 60,000 hectare Paphos Mountains. On the coin two Cypriot Mouflons are depicted looking forwards. At the top of the coin is the country name Cyprus, in Greek and Turkish, with the year 2021 in between.
