Cyprus BU 2020

This is the second set of a three-part series of BU sets from Cyprus, all of which look back to the obverse side of the Cypriot coins. This BU set refers to the 10, 20 & 50 Cent Cypriot coins, these coins depict what the ship of Kyrenia had looked like 400 years BCE (formerly known as BC). The shipwreck, found in 1967 by a Cypriot sponge diver, is the only ship left from ancient Greece, so it is almost 2,500 years old! No less than 75% of this shipwreck is in excellent condition. The ship of Kyrenia can be seen in the museum of Kyrenia. The complete set of 2020 Cypriot Euro coins, i.e. the 1 cent up to and including the 2 euro coin, is packaged in this BU set. The 2 Euro coin is the normal 2 Euro of Cyprus 2020. The edition of this beautiful set is only 5,000 copies.
