Cyprus UNC 2018

This is the complete set of Euro coins from Cyprus 2018. The 1, 2 & 5 cent coins show an image of a Cypriot Mouflon, a type of wild sheep that is threatened with extinction. On the 10, 20 & 50 cent coins is an image of the ship of Kyrenia. The ship of Kyrenia was an original cargo ship that was used 6,000 years ago! It is found in Kyrenia which is currently part of Turkish Cyprus. On the 1 & 2 Euro coins the Idol of Pomos is depicted. This is a figurine that is about 5,000 years old which symbolizes fertility. These figurines can be a few centimetres up to metres in size! On all Cypriot coins the country name Cyprus is shown in two languages, Turkish and Greek. The year 2018 is also shown on every coin.
