Cyprus UNC 2020

This is the complete set of 2020 Cyprus Euro coins. The 1, 2 & 5 cent coins depict a Cypriot Mouflon, a type of wild sheep that is threatened with extinction. The 10, 20 & 50 cent coins show an image of the ship of Kyrenia. The Kyrenia ship was an original cargo ship that was used 6,000 years ago! It was found in Kyrenia which is currently part of Turkish Cyprus. The 1 and 2 Euro coins feature an image of the Idol of Pomos. This is a statue which is about 5,000 years old and was supposed to symbolize fertility. Statues of a few centimetres to metres in size are known! On all Cypriot coins the country name Cyprus is shown in two languages, i.e. Turkish and Greek. Of course, the year 2020 is shown on each coin.
