Product Description
In the context of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Finland the country has issued a special 20 Euro coin, bringing Finnish culture to the fore. They have chosen to represent the Finnish Tango, a typical Finnish dance. Finnish Tango Culture is specifically Finnish and the population could elect which song is most important to the Finns. An overwhelming majority chose Satumaa (The Wonderland). Every year in Finland there is a huge Tango Festival, the Tangonarkkinat Festival. On the left of the obverse of the coin you will see a singer and on the right is a dancing couple. On the top of the coin you can see the Swedish text Suomalainen Tango and the Finnish text Finske Tango (Finnish Tango). On the reverse of the coin some of the text of the tango song The Wonderland is printed. At the top, the country name Suomi (Swedish) and Finland (Finnish). On the right is the year 2017 and at the bottom of the coin is the value of 20 Euro. Comparing to the 10 Euro coin, which has the same design as the 20 Euro coin, the 20 Euro is much bigger and heavier than the 10 Euro coin. The coin is presented in a luxury package whose layout is completely different from that of the 10 Euro coin. The issue of this coin is limited to only 5.000 copies.
