Product Description

Finland has issued a 20 Euro coin with the theme 'Child Welfare'. The organization 'Mannerheim League For Child Welfare' takes care of the welfare of children. All children have the right to a happy and peaceful childhood. The Mannerheim League is open to everyone and is Finland's largest child welfare organization. The Mannerheim League, which has more than 86,000 members, ensures that children are treated equally, that they enjoy a good and happy environment, that education is provided and that they can live in peace. The Mannerheim League has been taking children's well-being into account for 100 years, which is why Finland has decided to issue a 20 Euro coin with this as its subject. On the face of the coin an abstract drawing is depicted showing a mother walking with her child and a pram. In addition, some toys are randomly scattered around. The country name 'Suomi Finland' and the year of issue, 2020, are displayed to the right of the coin. An echo of a baby is abstractly depicted on the reverse of the coin. The text 'LASTEN OIKEUDET BARNENS RÄTTIGHETER' (children's rights) is also shown. The coin is presented in a beautiful cassette of which only 2,000 copies were made! This is the first special coin to be issue d by Finland for almost two years!
