This is the sixth coin from the series of nine Finnish Bi-metal 5 Euro coins that will be issued in the year 2018. This series has as its theme the Finnish National Landscapes. The Finnish population chose which National Landscapes are the most beautiful. The subject of the sixth coin from this series is Tammerkoski in Tampere. Tampere is one of the largest cities in Finland. Tampere is located between the two lakes Näsijärvi and Pyhäjärvi. The difference in height between these two is 18 metres and the water flows from Näsijärvi to Pyhäjärvi through the Tammerkoski rapids. The banks of the Tammerkoski are considered the oldest industrial area in Finland. With the power generated from the Tammerkoski, the power requirements of the industry could be met. On the face of the coin is a picture of the Tammerkoski in Tampere. The reverse of this series of coins is the same being a map of Finland with a dot on the coin that indicates where the location of the landscape, in this case Tampere, can be found. On the left of the map of Finland the value indication of 5 Euro is shown. In the outer ring of the coin is the year 2018 and the country name Suomi (Finnish) and Finland (Swedish). The quality of this beautiful bimetal coin is UNC and is delivered in a printed coin holder.
