France 2 Euro 2022 'Olympic Games'. The 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in France. To celebrate this happy fact Monnaie de Paris (French Mint) has decided to issue a coin every year until the occasion of the 2024 Olympic Games. France won no fewer than 33 medals at the previous Summer Olympics in Tokyo, of which 10 Gold, 12 Silver and 11 Bronze. France hopes to win even more medals in 2024. On the face of this special coin 'Olympic Games' the Greek Discus Thrower is depicted with the Arc de Triomphe in the background, which of course symbolizes the city of Paris. The Olympic flame and the five Olympic rings are also shown. The coin is packed in a printed coin holder.
