France 9 X 10 Euro 2022 'Asterix' - Part 2. France will issue a series of Asterix coins which consists of a total of 18 coins, i.e. two times 9 coins, of which these are the last 9. These 10 Euro coins are all different and each coin has a different theme and has its own image. 9 coins from this series are coloured and 9 coins from this series are not coloured. Part 2 consists of 5 coloured coins and 4 non-coloured coins. Asterix is a French comic series with the main characters Asterix and his great friend Obelix. Asterix was created by French artist Albert Uderzo and writer René Goscinny. The series has been released worldwide and translated into more than 100 different languages. The series is set in Gaul. This village, with the help of a magic potion, was the only one to resist the invasion of Julius Caesar. This potion made the Gauls super strong and invincible. Asterix, Obelix and the dog Idefix are central to the many episodes. More than 60 years ago, on 29th October, 1959, the very first episode of Asterix appeared. Each coin is presented in its own unique packaging!
