Greece 10 euro 2022 'Lord Byron'. Lord Byron (George Gordon Byron) was an English poet and writer. Lord Byron mainly wrote romantic poems and books. He studied in Dulwich in 1799 and then in Harrow û the most prestigious school in England. His most famous work was 'Childe Harold's Pilgrimage'. In 1823, Lord Byron left for Greece to participate in the Freedom War. He sold his estate and, a few weeks later, arrived on the island of Kefalonia. In 1824 Lord Byron died of the effects of malaria. On the face of the coin is an image of Lord Byron together with the year of issue, 2022. On the reverse of the coin the coat of arms of Greece is shown along with the coloured Greek and English flags. The value indication of 10 euros is also displayed.
