Product Description
The consignment and loan fund is supervised by the Ministry of Finance in Greece. It was established by law 1608/1919. It is known as a specialized credit institution that is entrusted to provide loans for public works. This was later expanded so that local authorities could also make use of this. Home loans were also granted in the public sector, which led to an enormous increase in construction in the housing market. Over the past century the Fund has made a very important contribution to the economic development of Greece. The public and social interest is very important to them. They try to ensure a strong financial position, although that has not always been successful. On the face of the coin the logo of the "centenary of the consignment deposits and loans fund" is depicted. It looks like a lynx with an arrow in its mouth. The lynx balances itself on a piece of grain, which used to be a very expensive product. The coin is mainly distributed among government employees and it is very difficult to get hold of. This is of course no problem for us, the Eurocoinhouse. The value of the coin is 5 euros and it is mounted in a beautiful blister pack. The circulation of this coin is 4,000 but only 1,000 have been made available for sale.
