Greece 5 Euro 2020 Athens University

The University of Athens opened on 3rd May, 1837. It is the oldest University in Greece and has many different faculties. This 5 Euro coin is dedicated to the 'Faculty of Economics and Business' which was established in 1920. At present this faculty has no fewer than 28 different study programs divided among eight different academic departments. The Faculty of Economics and Business is known for its international program and is one of the top 20 MBA courses in Europe, and ranks 42 in the world! Because the faculty was founded 100 years ago, Greece has decided to issue this 5 Euro coin. On the face of the coin is the logo of the Faculty of Economics and Business. In English and Greek, encircling the logo, is written 'University of Athens / Economics and Business'. The value indication of 5 Euro is shown beneath the logo. The dates 1920 - 2020 are shown on the reverse of the coin, with the number 100 incorporated. On turning the coin a different number is displayed! The Greek coat of arms is also shown. The coin is mounted in a beautiful Coincard.
