Product Description
Greece 5 Euro 2021 'Campanula Saxatilis'. The Campanula Saxatilis is a plant from the bellflower family (Campanulaceae). Campanula is the Latin word for Bellflower. The Campanula Saxatilis is a perennial that can be found in certain parts of Greece. It is a purple plant that can grow to a height of about 20 cm. The beautiful bells often face downwards. The Campanula Saxatilis flowers only a few weeks a year and survives the winter through the root-stock, whilst the rest of the plant dies. On the face of the coin is a beautifully coloured Campanula Saxatilis. The year of issue, 2021, is also displayed. On the reverse of the coin is another representation of a Campanula Saxatilis along with the value indication of 5 Euro. The coin is presented in a beautiful blister.
