Greece BU 2019 Samos

The 2019 BU set from Greece is based on the island of Samos. Samos is a large island of Greece that is over 44 kilometres long and almost 20 kilometres wide. There are many mountains on this island, the highest of which is almost 1450 metres! Samos is a strategically located island that has previously been occupied by many population groups. Ionians, Persians and the Romans have all had their hands on this island. In 1912 the island became part of Greece. Most people have heard of Pythagoras's theorem (a2 + b2 = c2), which was conceived by the Greek mathematician and philosopher Pythagoras who was born on this island. Samos is also known for its sweet white Samos wine, honey and olive oil. The complete set of 2019 Greek Euro coins is packaged in this BU set. The 2 Euro coin is the normal 2019 Greek €2 coin. Various 2019 coins from Greece will not come into circulation as separate coins.
