With a length of 32.5 kilometres and a width of 24.5 kilometres, it is also the largest island of the Cyclades Islands. On the island of Naxos is the mountain Zas (Zeus) which is 1,022 metres high! Naxos is located in the deep blue Aegean Sea and attracts many tourists every year, which is the main source of income for the 25,000 inhabitants of the island.
