Benelux BU 2020

The theme of the 2020 Benelux set is '75 years of peace and freedom in the Benelux'. This set refers to the freedom that returned to Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. A number of nostalgic photos that were taken when freedom had actually returned are shown. Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg reflect on their freedom during their Remembrance Day. In Belgium, this will be remembered on 11th November (Armistice Day), in the Netherlands, this will be remembered on 4th May (Remembrance Day) and in Luxembourg on 10th October (National Remembrance Day). This 2020 Benelux set 2020 contains no less than 24 coins, which are the complete series of Euro coins from Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Several 2020 coins of Belgium and the Netherlands will not come into circulation. The Belgian Euro coins are minted in the Netherlands, which is indicated by the Mercury mint sign which is depicted next to the year 2020. This coin set also includes an exclusive medal which has the theme of the Benelux Lion. The circulation of this set is only 5,000 copies and each copy is provided with a unique number.
