2021 Netherlands 5 Euro '40 Years Youth News' - First Day of Issue Envelope. On 5th January, 1981, the NOS Youth News (Jeugdjournaal) was broadcast for the first time. In 1981, the Jeugdjournaal (Youth News) always lasted seven minutes and was broadcast from Monday to Friday. The 'Youth News' were not broadcast during the school holidays. Today, the Youth News is broadcast 365 days-a-year and always lasts twenty minutes. In 1981, the Jeugdjournaal was presented by Leontien Ceulemans. Nowadays it is presented by different hosts, each with their own field of expertise. On the face of the coin is a globe which is the symbol of the daily World News. Furthermore, the text '40 JAAR NOS JEUGDJOURNAAL' and the value indication of 5 Euro are shown. On the reverse of the coin is an image of King Willem-Alexander encircled by the text 'WILLEM-ALEXANDER KONING DER NEDERLANDEN' and the year of issue, 2021. The coin is packed in the standard Dutch first day of issue envelope.
