Netherlands 5 Euro 2023 'Willemstad' First Day Issue. The Netherlands has issued euro coins with the theme 'Willemstad'. Willemstad is the capital of Curaçao and has over 100,000 inhabitants. The average temperature of Curaçao is about 30 degrees Celsius and is, therefore, a very popular destination for holidaymakers. Curaçao is an independent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The most famous sights are the Queen Juliana Bridge, the Queen Emma Bridge, the Penha building and Fort Amsterdam.
