Netherlands Coin card '2.5 Cent'. The Netherlands has issued a Coincard dedicated to the 2.5 Cent coin from 1941. This 2.5 Cent coin was last used 80 years ago, in the year 1941. The coin was subsequently withdrawn from circulation and was no longer legal tender. This 2.5 Cent coin was made of bronze and had served as a means of payment for many years. The Royal Dutch Mint has issued this special Coincard to commemorate this 2.5 Cent coin so that it is not forgotten. The circulation of this Coincard is only 3,500 copies.
