Product Description

Netherlands Coincard 'Last Type Silver Gulden Wilhelmina'. The Netherlands minted the last type of Silver 1 Gulden (Guilder) coins from 1922 to 1945. These coins contain 720/1000 parts Silver! This means that there is 72% Silver in these Guldens. The coin weighs 10 grams and has a diameter of 28 mm! These Guldens were minted in Utrecht in 1922, 1923, 1924, 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931, 1938, 1939 and 1940. During the Second World War the coins were minted in Denver in 1943 (for the Dutch East Indies) and in 1944 and 1945 in Philadelphia. Several years are packed in the Dutch Silver Gulden Coincards, but they have not all been found yet! Only a few copies of some Coincards were made! When this Coincard is ordered a coin from the year 1930 or 1931 will be received.
