Italy 2 Euro 2020 The Fire Department Coloured

Italy has issued a 2 Euro coin on the theme of the fire brigade! In the Italian language the fire brigade are called the 'Corpo nazionale dei vigili del fuoco'. The Italian fire brigade, as it is known today, was founded on 28th February, 1939, these firefighters, as well as fighting fires, help those in need and assist in accidents. In addition, they are also called upon in various other national emergencies. The Italian fire brigade has existed for more than 80 years. This coloured 2 Euro coin of 2020 shows the logo of the Italian fire brigade. Encircling the logo is the text 'Corpo nazionale dei vigili del fuoco' (The National Fire Service). The letters 'RI' stand for Repubblica Italiana (Republic of Italy) and the letter 'R' indicates the Mint of Rome. On the right the year of issue, 2020, is shown.
