Italy 5 Euro 2020 Eduardo de Filippo

'Eduardo de Filippo' was born in Naples in the year 1900. He started acting when he was just 5 years old, he did this together with his sister and brother. Eduardo de Filippo was an Italian writer best known for his Neapolitan works 'Napoli Milionaria' and 'Filumena Marturano'. He was declared a senator for life at the age of 81. The plays were seen as true works of art. On the obverse of the coin is a portrait of Eduardo de Filippo. The country name 'Repubblica Italiana' (Republic of Italy) is also displayed. On the reverse of the coin is a scene of a play with the curtain just opening. On the podium is a table and a chair, above which the value indication of 5 Euro is shown. His name is displayed in the centre of the coin. At the bottom is the text 'IL TEATRO E VITA' (Theatre is life). In the rim of the coin is a cup, a coffee maker, a lucky horn and a star. The coin is mounted in a beautiful Coincard which itself is packed in an extra blister.
