Italy 5 Euro 2022 'Carabinieri'. Italy has issued a 5 Euro coin with the theme 'Carabinieri - Combating Counterfeit Money'. 30 years ago the 'Anti-Counterfeiting Command' was set up in Italy with the sole purpose of getting counterfeit money out of circulation. This is to protect both payment traffic in Italy and in Europe. On the face of the coin a specialist is shown checking a banknote under a microscope, the value indication of 5 Euro and the year of issue, 2022, are also shown. On the reverse is the logo of the Italian Anti-Counterfeiting Command department together with the country name Repubblica Italiana (Italy).
