Italy 5 Euro 2022 'Panettone Lombardia'

2022 Italy 5 Euro coin 'Lombardy - Franciacorta and Panettone'. Italy issues a series of 5 Euro coins with the theme 'Italian Food and Wine', of which this is the fourth. Panettone is a luxurious Italian bread, filled with raisins and candied fruit. It originates from Milan and has an airy structure and is always baked in a round form. Franciacorta is a sparkling wine that resembles champagne. It comes from the Lombardy region, which is located between Verona and Milan. Franciacorta is mainly made from the Pinot Bianco grape. On the face of the coin is an image of the Panettone and Franciacorta. The year of issue, 2022 and the value indication of 5 Euro are also displayed. The reverse of the coin shows the ingredients for a Panettone i.e. egg, lemon, flour, candied lemon, raisins, butter and orange zest. Furthermore, a bottle of Franciacorta is seen lying in a container with ice. The country name REPUBBLICA ITALIANA (Italy) is also shown.
