Italy 5 Euro 2022 'University of Padova' (Padua). The University of Padova is one of the oldest universities in Italy and is no less than 800 years old! The University has no fewer than 60,000 students and has 32 different faculties. The University of Padova is ranked as the 61st best university in the world. To commemorate the 800th anniversary of the University of Padova, Italy has decided to issue a special 5 Euro coin. The face of the coin shows the entrance gate of the university and the handrail of the stairs called 'Stairs of Knowledge'. Furthermore, a Fresco made by Gio Ponti is shown. On the reverse of the coin is the seal of the University of Padova, together with the value indication of 5 Euro and the years 1222 and 2022. The coin is presented in a beautiful case and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
