Italy 5 euro Alpine World Ski Championships 2021

The Alpine Skiing World Cup Finals are held in Italy from 8th February to 21st February, 2021. The International Ski Federation (also known as FIS) had approved the slopes in Italy for these finals. Due to COVID-19 this event is hold in 2021 and not in 2020. There are different disciplines in alpine skiing namely - Super-G, slalom, giant slalom and downhill. Both men and women would participate in these World Cup Finals. The World Cup Finals can be compared with the Olympic Games and the World Championships. The competitions are in Cortina d'Ampezzo. On the face of the coin the logo of the World Cup Finals is shown in colour. Furthermore, a part of the Dolomites, the mountain range where this event is hold, is depicted. Additionally, the year of issue 2021, the value indication of 5 Euro and the text 'FIS Alpine World Ski Championships' are also shown. The reverse of the coin depicts a skier engaged in a slalom. The Dolomites can be seen in the background and at the bottom is the country name, Repubblica Italiana, (Republic of Italy). The coin is mounted in a Coincard and, as an extra, in a beautiful blister.
