Italy BU 2022

This is the 2022 BU set from Italy. The BU set of Italy 2022 contains 8 coins i.e. the 1 Cent coin up to and including the normal 2 Euro coin. The Italian 1 cent coin shows the castle del Monte, this castle was built in the year 1240. On the 2 cent coin the Mole Antonelliana, a well-known building located in Turin, is depicted. On the 5 cent coin is an image of the Colosseum, which is located in Rome û many battles were held in this arena in the past. On the 10 cent coin is a detail of the painting, the birth of Venus which was painted by Sandro Botticelli. On the 20 cent coin is a futuristic statue, made by sculptor Umberto Boccioni. On the 50 cent coin the bronze equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius is pictured. This unique statue stands in the centre of Rome. The 1 Euro coin shows the Vitruvian man, designed by Leonardo da Vinci. On the 2 Euro coin is a portrait of Dante Alighieri as drawn by Raphael. The edition of this set is 10,000 copies.
