Italy UNC 2020

This is the UNC set of Italy 2020. On the Italian 1 cent is an image of the castle del Monte, this castle was built in the year 1240. On the 2 cent coins the Mole Antonelliana, a famous building located in Turin, is depicted. On the 5 cent coins is the Colosseum, located in Rome, an arena where many battles used to be held. On the 10 cent coin a detail of the painting the birth of Venus is shown. This was painted by Sandro Botticelli. On the 20 cent coins is a futuristic statue made by sculptor Umberto Boccioni. On the 50 cent coins the bronze equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius is depicted. This unique statue is located in the centre of Rome. The 1 Euro coin shows the Vitruvian man, designed by Leonardo da Vinci. The 2 Euro shows a portrait of Dante Aligieri, drawn by Rafaël. Various 2020 Italian coins will not come into loose circulation.
