Latvia UNC 2019

The 2019 Latvian coins will most certainly not come into circulation. The complete 2019 UNC set from Latvia consists of 8 coins. This is the 1 cent 2019 up to and including the normal 2 Euro of 2019. The coins of Latvia are very scarce because in total only 7,000 coins of each nomination are available. In addition, many sets remain in Latvia because there are also many coin lovers there! The 'small coat of arms' of Latvia is shown on the 1, 2 and 5 cent coins. At the bottom of this small crest is the country name Latvija and next to the crest is the year 2019. The small coat of arms is used by educational institutions and government institutions. On the 10, 20 and 50 cent coins the Latvian 'great coat of arms' is depicted. This great crest is used by the Latvian president, parliament and all diplomatic representatives. The year 2019 and the country name Latvija are shown under the large coat of arms. On the 1 and 2 Euro coins is an image of a well-known person in Latvia named 'Milda', Zelma Brauere depicts this woman on the coin. This image has been on the coins of Latvia since 1929! On these Euro coins she is portrayed, looking radiantly to the right, wearing traditional Latvian clothing. Around this image is the text 'Republika Latvijas'. The year 2019 is shown on the left side of the coin.
