Lithuania 1,5 Euro 2021 Klaipeda Sea Festival. The Sea Festival has been held annually in the city of Klaipeda since 1934. The 'Klaipeda Sea Festival' is one of the largest public festivals in Lithuania, attracting over a million people. The Klaipeda Sea Festival normally starts at the end of July and lasts for three days. Every year there is a Carnival procession where the theme is mythological sea creatures. There are also various sports, sailing and fishing competitions and many performances. In every street traditional Lithuanian dishes and local beers are available at the many stalls. Every year something new is organized during this festival, so no festival is the same! The Klaipeda Sea Festival always ends with a spectacular fireworks show. On the face of the coin are the symbols of the Klaipeda Sea Festival which create an inviting and festive atmosphere. At the top is the text 'JUROS SVENTE' (Sea Festival). The reverse of the coin shows the coat of arms of Klaipeda and 'Vytis' the coat of arms of Lithuania. Additionally, the country name LIETUVA (Lithuania), the year of issue 2021 and the value indication of €1.50 are shown, along with the Lithuanian mint mark.
