Lithuania 5 Euro 2019 Scouting

Lithuania has decided to issue a 5 Euro coin dedicated to scouting. The members of the scouts are found worldwide. People often start scouting at a young age, where they join a certain group which are age dependent. They are often people who love adventure and above all have a love of nature. Scouts learn all about flora and fauna and know how to survive in the wild. LSS (Lietuvos skautu sajunga) is the largest scouting group in Lithuania. The origin of LSS dates from 1918 and currently has no fewer than 1500 members. On the face of the coin is the word SKAUTAI (Scouts) at the top. In the centre the coat of arms of the 'Lietuvos skautu sajunga' is shown. The coin shows scouts engaged in many activities including walking, climbing and archery. A campfire and the tents, in which scouts often find themselves, are also depicted. On the reverse of the coin, at the top, is the country name LIETUVA (Lithuania). On the right the value indication of 5 Euro, with the year 2019 below, are shown. In the centre of the coin is an image of Vytis, the symbol of Lithuania. Also on the reverse of the coin all kinds of attributes that belong to the scouts are displayed. The circulation of this coin is only 2,500 copies! The coin is presented in a luxury cassette.
