Luxembourg 100 Euro '100 Years BLEU' Gold & Silver

Luxembourg 100 Euro 2021 'BLEU' Gold and Silver. Luxembourg has issued a 100 Euro coin (Gold with Silver) with the theme of the Belgian-Luxembourg Economic Union, abbreviated as BLEU. This union was concluded between Belgium and Luxembourg on 25th July 1921 and originally had a period of 50 years. In addition to a customs union it was also a currency union in which the Luxembourg franc and Belgian franc were linked. The coins were the same from 1921 to 1935 and from 1944 to 2002, after which both countries, as is known, switched to the Euro. This coin was issued late but we finally got it! On the face of the coin are the maps of both Belgium and Luxembourg together with the text 'Union Economique Belgo - Luxembourgeoise' (Belgian-Luxembourg Economic Union). The years 1921 and 2021 are also displayed. Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg and King Felipe of Belgium are portrayed on the reverse of the coin. The country name LÄTZEBUERG (Luxembourg) is also shown. The mintage of this rare Gold-Silver coin is only 1,000 copies!
