On the face of the coin a reed plant is depicted. On this plant is a bird û the Reed Warbler. A Reed Warbler likes to stay in the Reeds. A Reed Warbler in Luxembourg is called a "klenge Jaizert" (the little scream!) The reed warbler is a lively bird, not shy and therefore good to see and hear.
