Malta 2 Euro 2018 Cultural Heritage Coloured

Malta is issuing a series of five coins with the subject "By Children in Solidarity". The theme of this third coin from this series is the Maltese Cultural Heritage. The basis of this series of five coins is a child's drawing. Nicole Dimech made the winning drawing that serves as the basis for this special coloured 2018 Maltese 2 Euro coin. The winning drawing used for the coin shows a number of typical features of the Maltese Cultural Heritage. Centrally, a Megalithic Temple doorway is depicted within which is a dome and a bell tower of a church, these are often the profile of Maltese towns and villages. The sun is shown shining on the churches. A typical Maltese boat, which proudly flies the Maltese national flag, is displayed on the sea. The country name of Malta is shown above the temple doorway, at the bottom of the coin is the year 2018. The coin is packaged in a plastic coin capsule.
