Malta 2 Euro 2019 Nature and Environment Coincard with Mint sign

This is the fourth coin in the series of five with the subject 'By Children in Solidarity'. The theme of this special 2019 Maltese 2 Euro coin is 'Nature and Environment'. This series of coins are based on children's drawings. The winner of the 2019 drawing is Joshua Stuart. The theme of the coin (Nature and Environment) refers to the sun, which ensures that trees and shrubs can grow because without sun there is no growth possible. According to Joshua Stuart the sun that provides the warmth and light that is essential for growth and flowering. On the face of the coin the sun is depicted directing its power (sun's rays) on an apple tree. The apple tree can supply its fruit to the public because of the sunlight. Seven apples are displayed in the apple tree. On the left, at the bottom of the coin, is the country name MALTA along with the year 2019. Only 20,000 'Nature and Environment' coins with mint marks have been struck! This coin is mounted in a beautiful Coincard.
