Portugal 2 Euro 2020 '75 Years of the United Nations'

Portugal has issued its second 2 Euro coin of 2020, this one with the theme '75 Years of the United Nations'. The United Nations (UN) is an international organization that was founded in the United States 75 years ago. On 24th October, 1945 as many as 50 countries gathered in San Francisco to establish an organization that works together on human rights, climate change, humanitarian aid and global security. Today 194 states are members of the United Nations and countries meet several times a year to discuss important issues. To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations Portugal has decided to issue this 2 Euro coin. On the face of the coin is the text 'UN / ONU 75 YEARS / ANOS' (United Nations 75 years) with the logo of this organization below. At the top of the coin is the year of issue below which is the country name of Portugal. The coin is packaged in a printed coin holder.
