2023 Portugal 2 Euro 'World Youth Day Lisbon' - BU Coincard. Portugal has issued a special 2 Euro coin in 2023 with the theme of the World Youth Days Lisbon. Every year these World Youth Days are organized and during this period young people from all over the world travel to one city. In 2023 this will be in Lisbon and that is why Portugal has issued this special 2 Euro. During these World Youth Days the Pope encourages young people to be roots of joy and support each other. The purpose of World Youth Day is to provide all young people with a universal Church experience and to bring them closer to a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.
