Portugal 2023 BU

This is the 2023 BU set of Portugal which contains all eight coin nominations, i.e. the 2023 Portuguese 1 cent coin up to and including the normal 2 Euro coin. The images on the Portuguese coins are based on ancient royal seals of Dom Afonso Henriques. The Royal Seal from the year 1134 is shown on the 1, 2 & 5 cent coins. The Royal Seal from the year 1143 is depicted on the 10, 20 & 50 cent coins, and the Royal Seal from the year 1144 is shown on the 1 Euro and 2 Euro coins. In a circle are the five coats of arms and the seven castles from the Coat of Arms of Portugal. Between these coats of arms and castles is the country name Portugal and the year 2023. The outer ring of the coins shows the 12 stars of Europe. Various coins of Portugal 2023 will not enter circulation!
