2021 Portugal 5 Euro coin 'Dinheirosaurus Lourinhanensis'. The Dinheirosaurus Lourinhanensis is a herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the late Jurassic Period, about 200 million years ago. The Dinheirosaurus Lourinhanensis was an immense dinosaur with a length of 25 metres and a height of 8 metres. Due to its gigantic length the Dinheirosaurus Lourinhanensis had few natural enemies and could often eat the tops of the trees in peace. The Dinheirosaurus Lourinhanensis lived mainly in Portugal and had to eat about 100 kilograms of leaves and plants per day to survive. Weighing in at over 8,000 kilograms the Dinheirosaurus Lourinhanensis was as heavy as a small tank! On the face of the coin is an image of the Dinheirosaurus Lourinhanensis together with its name.
