Portugal 5 Euro 2021 The Seahorses. Portugal has issued a 5 Euro coin with the theme 'Seahorses'. The seahorse (Hippocampus) is a fish species that is known worldwide. With their upright posture and beautifully curled tail, they are fish that are found mainly in tropical and subtropical regions. They are mainly found in coral reefs where many aquatic plants are present. Seahorses have no teeth and only eat small fish larvae or small crustaceans. They have almost no natural enemies because they are too spiny for predatory fish. The biggest enemies they have are penguins and lobsters.
