Portugal FDC 2021

This is the 2021 FDC (Fleur de Coin) set of Portugal 2021 which includes all eight Portuguese coins i.e. the 2021 Portuguese 1 cent up to and including the 2021 normal 2 Euro of Portugal. The images on the Portuguese coins are based on ancient royal seals of Dom Afonso Henriques. On the 1, 2 & 5 cent coins is the Royal seal from the year 1134. On the 10, 20 & 50 cent coins the Royal seal from the year 1143 is shown and on the 1 & 2 Euro coins the Royal seal from the year 1144 is depicted. In a circle around these images are the five coats of arms and the seven castles from the Coat of arms of Portugal. Between these coats of arms and castles is the country name Portugal and the year 2021. In the outer ring of the coins are the 12 stars of Europe. Various coins of Portugal 2021 will not come into loose circulation.
