San Marino 10 Euro 2020 Alpini

San Marino is issuing a 10 Euro coin dedicated to the 'Alpini'. The Alpini are the specialized infantry corps of the Italian army. The mountain infantry, founded in 1872, is the oldest in the world! Every year the soldiers march somewhere in Italy. This year in San Marino and Rimini 100,000 soldiers are expected. On the face of this 10 Euro coin the typical felt hat is depicted. The characteristic feather bends slightly backwards. Furthermore, the text '93a ADUNATA ALPINI' (93rd Alpini meeting) is shown at the top left of the coin. At the bottom right are the words 'RIMINI - SAN MARINO 2020'. The value indication of 10 Euro is shown on the left of the coin. The reverse of the coin shows the coat of arms of San Marino together with the text 'REPUBBLICA DI SAN MARINO' (Republic of San Marino). This coin is packed in a printed coin holder.
