This is the normal 2019 San Marino 2 Euro coin. On this 2 Euro coin is a detail of the painting 'Madonna in Gloria'. This painting was painted around 1640 by Giovan Battista Urbinelli, also called Urbinelli by Urbino. The painting is to be found in the National Museum of San Marino. On the coin a portion of the painting is represented where St. Marino (St. Martin) takes San Marino, (indicated by the three Towers), in his hands for protection. At the top right the country name San Marino appears whilst at the bottom right is the year 2019. The outer ring of the coin shows the 12 stars of Europe. This coin is of course a legal method of payment.
