This is the 2020 San Marino 2 Euro coin. This normal 2 Euro coin shows a detail of the painting 'Madonna in Gloria'. This painting was painted around 1640 by Giovan Battista Urbinelli of Urbino. The painting hangs in the National Museum of San Marino. On the coin is a detail of the painting where Saint Marino is depicted taking San Marino (the three Towers) in his hands, as it were. Above right is the country name San Marino and below right is the year 2020. In the outer ring of the coin are the 12 stars of Europe.
